About me

I was born and raised in Dunedin, where I studied at the Dunedin School of Art and gained early drawing experience working part-time in an architect’s office. I later moved on to freelancing, primarily drawing houses for real estate advertising in local newspapers.

Over the years, I have had the pleasure of drawing a great number of Dunedin’s houses and buildings, each with its own architectural details and character. After a significant break working in another field, I’ve recently returned to drawing and am enjoying reconnecting with the work that has always felt most natural to me.

I work with black ink on watercolour paper. I enjoy exploring various pen nib sizes to achieve precision, depth, and contrast.
